Artist Bio:
Unit Four plus Two was a British pop band formed in 1963. The group originally consisted of Peter Moules, David "Buster" Meikle, Tommy Moeller, and Brian Parker. They released their debut single, "Sorrow and Pain," in 1964, which failed to make an impact on the charts. However, their second single, "Concrete and Clay," was a major success, reaching #1 on the UK Singles Chart and #28 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1965. The song remains their most well-known hit.

Following the success of "Concrete and Clay," Unit Four plus Two released several more singles and two albums, but they were unable to replicate the same level of success. The band eventually disbanded in 1970. Despite their brief time in the spotlight, Unit Four plus Two are remembered for their catchy pop melodies and the enduring popularity of "Concrete and Clay."
