Artist Bio:
Van Halen was an American rock band formed in Pasadena, California in 1972. The band was named after brothers Eddie Van Halen (guitar) and Alex Van Halen (drums), who were the core members throughout its existence.


Van Halen achieved significant commercial success with their self-titled debut album released in 1978, which included the hit singles "Runnin' with the Devil" and a cover of The Kinks' "You Really Got Me." The band's sound was characterized by Eddie Van Halen's innovative guitar playing and flamboyant style, as well as frontman David Lee Roth's energetic performances. Over the years, Van Halen went through several lineup changes and released a total of 12 studio albums, with their most successful being "1984" in 1984. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. Eddie Van Halen's virtuosic guitar skills have been widely acclaimed, and he is regarded as one of the greatest guitarists in the history of rock music.
