Artist Bio:
Van Halen was an American rock band formed in Pasadena, California in 1972. The band was founded by brothers Eddie Van Halen (guitar) and Alex Van Halen (drums), along with David Lee Roth (vocals) and Michael Anthony (bass). Van Halen became one of the most successful rock bands of the 1980s, known for their energetic live performances and innovative guitar work by Eddie Van Halen.

The band released several multi-platinum albums, including their self-titled debut album in 1978, which included the hit singles "Runnin' with the Devil" and "Eruption." Van Halen went on to achieve further success with albums like "1984" and "5150." The band experienced multiple lineup changes over the years, with Sammy Hagar replacing Roth as lead vocalist in the mid-1980s, and Gary Cherone briefly taking over in the late 1990s. Van Halen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
