Vandenberg is a Dutch rock band formed in 1982 by guitarist Adrian Vandenberg. The band's original lineup also included vocalist Bert Heerink, drummer Jos Zoomer, and bassist Dick Kemper. Vandenberg gained international success with their self-titled debut album released in 1982, which featured the hit single "Burning Heart." The band's music is characterized by its energetic guitar riffs, melodic vocals, and powerful rock sound.
After the release of their debut album, Vandenberg went on to release several more albums throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, including "Heading for a Storm" and "Alibi." Adrian Vandenberg later joined the supergroup Whitesnake in 1987, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled guitarist. In 2020, the band announced their comeback with a new lineup, featuring Adrian Vandenberg alongside new members Ronnie Romero, Randy van der Elsen, and Koen Herfst. Vandenberg continues to perform and record music, showcasing their enduring influence in the rock music scene.
