Artist Bio:
Velvet Revolver was an American hard rock supergroup formed in 2002. The band consisted of former Guns N' Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan, and Matt Sorum, alongside Dave Kushner and Scott Weiland, formerly of Stone Temple Pilots. The band's sound was a blend of hard rock and heavy metal, with influences from both members' previous bands.

Velvet Revolver released two studio albums during their career: "Contraband" in 2004 and "Libertad" in 2007. The band achieved commercial success with hits like "Slither" and "Fall to Pieces." Despite their success, internal conflicts and substance abuse issues led to the band's breakup in 2008. Velvet Revolver received critical acclaim for their music and performances, winning a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2005 for their song "Slither."
