Vic Damone, born Vito Rocco Farinola on June 12, 1928, was an American singer and actor. He rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s with his smooth baritone voice and romantic ballads. Damone recorded over 2,500 songs and released more than 50 albums during his career. Some of his most popular hits include "You're Breaking My Heart," "On the Street Where You Live," and "An Affair to Remember."
In addition to his successful music career, Damone also appeared in several films and television shows. He starred in movies such as "Rich, Young and Pretty" and "Kismet," as well as made guest appearances on TV series like "The Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island." Vic Damone passed away on February 11, 2018, leaving behind a legacy as one of the great crooners of his time.
