Vic Dana is an American singer and actor who gained popularity in the 1960s. He was born on August 26, 1940, in Buffalo, New York. Dana started his music career by performing in local clubs before being discovered by songwriter and producer, Sammy Cahn. Cahn helped Dana secure a recording contract with the Los Angeles-based label, Dolton Records.
In 1962, Vic Dana released his debut single, "Little Altar Boy," which became a hit and established him as a rising star in the music industry. He continued to release several successful singles, including "Red Roses for a Blue Lady" and "Shangri-La." Apart from his music career, Dana also appeared in a few films and television shows. Although his popularity waned in the 1970s, Vic Dana remains a beloved figure in the world of traditional pop music.
