Vitamin Z was a British pop/rock band formed in 1982. The band's lineup consisted of Geoff Barradale (vocals), Nick Lockwood (guitar), and Geoff Dugmore (drums). They gained popularity in the mid-1980s with their catchy pop tunes and energetic performances. Their most famous song is "Burning Flame," which was a hit single in 1985 and featured a guest appearance by iconic musician Phil Collins on drums.
Vitamin Z released their debut album, "Rites of Passage," in 1985, which received positive reviews and moderate commercial success. The band's sound was characterized by a mix of synth-pop and rock elements, with memorable hooks and melodic vocals. Despite their initial success, Vitamin Z disbanded in the late 1980s after releasing a few more singles and an unsuccessful second album.
