Artist Bio:
Voice of the Beehive was a British-American alternative pop rock band formed in London in 1986 by sisters Tracey Bryn and Melissa Brooke Belland. The band's name was inspired by the Japanese TV show "Honeybee Hutch." Their music was characterized by catchy melodies, harmonies, and a blend of pop and rock influences. Voice of the Beehive released their debut album, "Let It Bee," in 1988, which included the hit singles "I Think I Love You" and "Don't Call Me Baby."
The band's second album, "Honey Lingers," was released in 1991 and featured the singles "Monsters and Angels" and "I Say Nothing." Despite achieving some commercial success and a loyal fanbase, Voice of the Beehive disbanded in 1993. The Belland sisters briefly reunited in 2004 for a tour, but ultimately pursued separate musical projects.
