He burst onto the country music scene in the mid-1990s with his debut album, "Old Enough to Know Better," which produced four top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including the title track.
Throughout his career, Hayes has released a total of seven studio albums and charted multiple singles on the country music charts. Some of his other well-known songs include "On a Good Night," "What I Meant to Say," and "The Day That She Left Tulsa (In a Chevy).ΓÇ¥ Despite facing personal health challenges, including a battle with cancer, Hayes has continued to perform and record music, maintaining a loyal fan base within the country music community.
