Walter Jackson was an American soul and R&B singer who was born on March 19, 1938, in Pensacola, Florida. He began his music career in the early 1960s, signing with Okeh Records and releasing his debut album, "It's All Over," in 1964. Jackson gained recognition for his smooth and soulful voice, which earned him a loyal following among fans of soul music.


Throughout his career, Walter Jackson released several albums and singles, including hits like "It's All Over" and "Speak Her Name." He collaborated with renowned musicians and producers, such as Carl Davis and Curtis Mayfield, and his music was well-received by critics and audiences alike. Sadly, Jackson's career was cut short when he passed away on June 20, 1983, at the age of 45.
