Wanda Jackson, born on October 20, 1937, is an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist. She is known as the "Queen of Rockabilly" and has been credited as one of the first female rockabilly artists. Jackson began her music career in the mid-1950s and gained popularity in the 1960s with hits like "Let's Have a Party" and "Right or Wrong".


In addition to her rockabilly sound, Wanda Jackson also explored country and gospel music throughout her career. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Association in 2010. Jackson continues to perform and record music, solidifying her status as a pioneer in the music industry and a trailblazer for female artists in rock and country music.
