Waterfront is a British pop band that was formed in the 1980s. The band's lineup consisted of vocalist Chris Duffy, guitarist Phil Cilia, bassist Steve J. Taylor, and drummer Brian Shearer. They gained popularity in the UK with their hit single "Cry," which reached the Top 20 in the UK Singles Chart in 1989. The song was featured on their self-titled debut album, released in the same year.
Despite their initial success, Waterfront disbanded shortly after the release of their debut album. Following their breakup, the members pursued other musical endeavors. While their time together was relatively short, Waterfront made a mark in the UK music scene with their catchy pop sound and memorable hit single "Cry."
