Artist Bio:
Waylon Jennings was an American singer, songwriter, and musician born on June 15, 1937, in Littlefield, Texas. He is considered one of the pioneers of the outlaw country music movement, known for his rebellious attitude and distinctive voice. Jennings released a string of successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Lonesome, On'ry and Mean" and "Dreaming My Dreams." He is best known for hits such as "Good Hearted Woman," "Luckenbach, Texas," and "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys," a duet with Willie Nelson.


Jennings was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001 and continued to perform and record music until his death on February 13, 2002, in Chandler, Arizona. He left a lasting impact on the country music genre and is remembered for his distinctive sound and outlaw persona.
