Artist Bio:
WC & The Maad Circle was a hip-hop group formed in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. The group was led by William Loshawn Calhoun Jr., also known as WC, who was the main rapper and producer. Other members included Coolio, DJ Crazy Toones, and Big Gee. They released their debut album, "Ain't a Damn Thang Changed," in 1991, which was well-received and showcased their West Coast gangsta rap style.
In 1995, WC released a second album with The Maad Circle titled "Curb Servin'." The album featured collaborations with artists like Ice Cube, Mack 10, and CJ Mac. Despite receiving positive reviews, the group disbanded shortly after the release of their second album. WC would go on to have a successful solo career, collaborating with artists like Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg, and continuing to be a prominent figure in the West Coast hip-hop scene.
