Artist Bio:
Westside Connection was a West Coast hip-hop group formed in the mid-1990s, consisting of Ice Cube, Mack 10, and WC. The group was known for their hardcore and gangsta rap style, with lyrics often focusing on themes of street life, gang violence, and social issues. They released their debut album, "Bow Down," in 1996, which was a commercial success and received positive reviews from critics.
The group's most well-known single, also titled "Bow Down," became a West Coast anthem and helped solidify their place in the rap scene. Westside Connection continued to release music and tour together, with their last album, "Terrorist Threats," coming out in 2003. While they have not released any new music as a group in recent years, the members have continued to have successful solo careers in the hip-hop industry.
