Artist Bio:
Wet Willie is a Southern rock band that was formed in Mobile, Alabama in 1970. The band's original lineup consisted of Jimmy Hall (vocals and saxophone), Jack Hall (bass), John Anthony (guitar), Ricky Hirsch (guitar), Lewis Ross (drums), and Mike Duke (keyboards). They are best known for their hit singles "Keep On Smilin'" and "Street Corner Serenade," which both reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the 1970s.


Wet Willie released a string of albums throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, blending elements of rock, R&B, and soul in their music. They were known for their energetic live performances and gained a dedicated following in the Southern rock scene. Despite several lineup changes over the years, Wet Willie continued to tour and release music, with Jimmy Hall remaining a constant member.
