Wet Willie is an American rock band that originated in Mobile, Alabama in 1970. The band was known for their blend of Southern rock, blues, and R&B influences, with a sound that was often compared to the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Wet Willie gained popularity in the 1970s with hits such as "Keep On Smilin'" and "Street Corner Serenade."

The band's lineup has changed over the years, with lead singer and keyboardist Jimmy Hall being a constant member since the beginning. Wet Willie continued to perform and record music throughout the 1970s and 1980s, releasing several albums and touring extensively. They were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2016, recognizing their contributions to the Southern rock genre.
