Artist Bio:
White Plains was a British pop music group formed in 1969. The band was originally a studio creation, put together by producer Roger Greenaway, and consisted of various vocalists and musicians. Their most successful lineup included members Tony Burrows, Robin Shaw, Roger Greenaway, Pete Nelson, and Ricky Wolff. White Plains released their debut single "My Baby Loves Lovin'" in 1970, which became a chart-topping hit in the UK and reached the Top 10 in the US. They followed this success with other hits like "When You Are a King" and "Step into a Dream."
Despite their initial success, White Plains struggled to maintain their popularity and lineup changes were frequent. The band eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s, but their catchy pop tunes continue to be remembered by fans of the era.
