They were one of the first rap groups to add a touch of R&B and rock to their music, helping to pave the way for the fusion of hip hop and other genres. Whodini is best known for hits like "Friends," "Freaks Come Out at Night," and "One Love," which helped establish them as one of the prominent hip hop acts of the 1980s.
Whodini released six studio albums between 1983 and 1996, with their self-titled debut album reaching gold status. They were also known for their innovative music videos and energetic live performances.
