He is best known for his 1959 hit song "Kansas City," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the R&B chart. The song was later covered by various artists, including The Beatles.


Harrison's music career began in the 1950s, and he recorded a mix of rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and gospel music. In addition to "Kansas City," some of his other notable songs include "Goodbye Kansas City," "Let's Work Together," and "My Heart Is Yours." Harrison's unique blend of blues, rock, and gospel influences set him apart as a distinctive artist in the music industry.
