Artist Bio:
Willie Hutch was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on December 6, 1944, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on September 19, 2005. Hutch was known for his soulful voice and his contributions to the soul and funk music genres. He began his career in the 1960s as a songwriter for artists like The 5th Dimension and The Jackson 5 before releasing his own albums.

Hutch gained popularity in the 1970s with his work on the soundtrack for the blaxploitation film "The Mack," which included the hit song "Brother's Gonna Work It Out." He continued to release solo albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, with his music often characterized by smooth vocals and socially conscious lyrics. Hutch's influence can still be heard in contemporary music, as his songs have been sampled by various hip-hop artists over the years.
