Artist Bio:
Wings was a British-American rock band formed in 1971 by former Beatles member Paul McCartney. The band's lineup consisted of Paul McCartney on vocals and bass, his wife Linda McCartney on keyboards, Denny Laine on guitar and vocals, and additional members who changed over the years. Wings achieved commercial success with hit songs like "Band on the Run," "Live and Let Die," and "Mull of Kintyre." They released a total of seven studio albums between 1971 and 1983.

Wings disbanded in 1981, and Paul McCartney went on to have a successful solo career. Despite being initially criticized for not living up to the Beatles' legacy, Wings became one of the most successful bands of the 1970s, with a string of hit singles and albums. Their music ranged from rock to pop, and they were known for their energetic live performances.
