Artist Bio:
Wings was a British rock band formed in 1971 by former Beatles member Paul McCartney. The band was initially formed as a way for McCartney to pursue his music career following the breakup of The Beatles. Wings achieved commercial success with hit songs such as "Live and Let Die," "Band on the Run," and "Jet." The band underwent several lineup changes throughout its existence, with McCartney being the only consistent member.

Wings released a total of seven studio albums between 1971 and 1979, with their most successful album being "Band on the Run," which reached the top of the charts in several countries. The band also embarked on several successful tours during their career. Despite disbanding in 1981, Wings left a lasting legacy in the music industry and is remembered as one of the most successful and influential bands of the 1970s.
