Wings was a British rock band formed in 1971 by former Beatles member Paul McCartney. The band underwent several lineup changes throughout its existence, with McCartney being the only consistent member.
Wings released a total of seven studio albums between 1971 and 1979, with their most successful album being "Band on the Run," which reached the top of the charts in several countries.
