Artist Bio:
Wings was a British rock band formed in 1971 by Paul McCartney after the breakup of The Beatles. The band's lineup consisted of Paul McCartney on vocals and bass, his wife Linda McCartney on keyboards, Denny Laine on guitar and vocals, and former Moody Blues drummer Denny Seiwell. Wings achieved great commercial success, with numerous hit singles and albums. Their most successful album, "Band on the Run" released in 1973, reached number one on the charts in both the US and the UK. The band's music encompassed a variety of styles, including rock, pop, and even some experimental elements.

Wings disbanded in 1981 after releasing a total of seven studio albums, several live albums, and numerous singles. Despite their relatively short career, Wings left a lasting impact on the music industry and are remembered as one of the most successful supergroups of all time. Paul McCartney's time with Wings allowed him to establish himself as a successful solo artist separate from The Beatles.
