Yankee Grey was a country music band formed in 1998 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consisted of members Tim Hunt, Matthew Basford, Joe Caverlee, Kevin Griffin, and Jerry Hughes. They released their self-titled debut album in 1999 under Monument Records, which spawned the hit single "All Things Considered." The album received positive reviews and helped establish Yankee Grey as a rising act in the country music scene.
Despite their initial success, Yankee Grey disbanded in 2002 after releasing only one album. The band members went on to pursue individual musical endeavors, with some continuing to work in the music industry. Though their time together was short-lived, Yankee Grey's music still remains popular among country music fans, and they are remembered for their unique sound and harmonious blend of country and pop influences.
