Yellowcard was an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997. The band consisted of members Ryan Key (vocals, rhythm guitar), Sean Mackin (violin, vocals), Ryan Mendez (lead guitar), Josh Portman (bass guitar), and Longineu W. Parsons III (drums). Yellowcard was known for their unique sound that blended pop punk with elements of alternative rock and emo.
The band gained mainstream success with their hit singles "Ocean Avenue" and "Only One" from their breakthrough album "Ocean Avenue" released in 2003. Yellowcard released a total of ten studio albums, with their final album "Yellowcard" being released in 2016 before the band announced their breakup in 2017. Throughout their career, Yellowcard toured extensively and built a dedicated fan base around the world.
