The original lineup consisted of vocalist Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Peter Banks, keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford.
Yes released their self-titled debut album in 1969, which was followed by a series of critically acclaimed albums such as "Fragile" (1971), "Close to the Edge" (1972), and "Relayer" (1974). The band went through numerous lineup changes over the years, with members coming and going, but they continued to release albums and tour consistently. Yes has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has sold over 13.5 million albums in the United States alone, making them one of the best-selling and most enduring progressive rock bands of all time.
