Artist Bio:
Young Black Teenagers was a rap group formed in the early 1990s. Despite their name, the members were not actually African American; they were a group of white teenagers from Long Island, New York. The group gained attention for their energetic and lively performances, as well as their unique mix of hip-hop, rock, and punk influences.
Young Black Teenagers released their self-titled debut album in 1991, which featured the hit single "Tap the Bottle." The song was a commercial success and helped the group gain popularity. However, despite their initial success, the group faced criticism for their controversial name and eventually changed it to YBT. They released a second album in 1993 titled "Dead Enz Kidz Doin' Lifetime Bidz" before eventually disbanding. Young Black Teenagers left a mark on the music industry with their genre-blending style and provocative name.
