Yvonne Elliman is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who gained fame in the 1970s. She was born on December 29, 1951, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Elliman is best known for her hit songs "If I Can't Have You" and "Love Pains." She also achieved success with her portrayal of Mary Magdalene in the original Broadway production and film adaptation of "Jesus Christ Superstar."
