Zhane is an American R&B duo that was active in the 1990s. The group consisted of Renee Neufville and Jean Norris. They released their debut album, "Pronounced Jah-Nay," in 1994, which achieved commercial success and was certified platinum. The album featured hit singles such as "Hey Mr. DJ" and "Groove Thang," which helped establish Zhane as a prominent act in the R&B and hip-hop music scenes.
Following the success of their debut album, Zhane released their sophomore album, "Saturday Night," in 1997. The album featured the popular single "Request Line." Despite the success of their first two albums, Zhane eventually went on hiatus and pursued solo projects. The duo's unique blend of soulful vocals and hip-hop beats garnered them a dedicated fan base and solidified their legacy in the R&B music industry.
