Artist Bio:
Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers was a Jamaican reggae band formed in 1979 by Ziggy Marley, the eldest son of reggae icon Bob Marley, along with his siblings Sharon, Cedella, and Stephen. The band released their debut album, "Play the Game Right," in 1985, and went on to achieve international success with their blend of roots reggae, dancehall, and pop influences.

Throughout their career, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers released several albums and singles that garnered critical acclaim and commercial success. They won three Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album - in 1989 for "Conscious Party," in 1990 for "One Bright Day," and in 1998 for "Fallen Is Babylon." The band's music often carried messages of love, unity, and social justice, staying true to the Marley family's legacy of using music as a platform for positive change.
