ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. The band consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbons, bassist and co-lead vocalist Dusty Hill, and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top is known for their blues-inspired rock music, catchy guitar riffs, and signature look of long beards, sunglasses, and hats.


The band gained commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hit songs like "La Grange," "Sharp Dressed Man," and "Legs." They have released 15 studio albums, with their most successful being "Eliminator" in 1983, which sold over 10 million copies in the United States. ZZ Top has won several awards, including three MTV Video Music Awards. They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
